Friends of the Library

The purpose of the Friends of the Library (FOL) is to support the use of the library’s resources and services; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests for the library; to support and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facilities for the community; to lend legislative support where needed; and to support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights. 

Membership in the Friends is open to all who wish to support the purpose of the organization. Membership dues are on an annual basis.  

2024-25 Support - Summer Reading Program, staff training and support, marketing materials, book bags, statewide library advocacy

2023-24 Support – Summer Reading Program and youth books for the new Fairmont Public Library!
